Hi everyone,

I submitted an application for the educational plan and uploaded the required documents 19 days ago, and it says "Under review" - it has not been rejected or approved. Is this normal?

Yes, unfortunately that can happen sometimes. A lot of student applications get reviewed within a few days, but delays of 2 to 4 weeks are not uncommon, especially during busy periods.

If it still says “Under review,” it usually means your application has not been rejected yet, just pending manual review. I’d recommend waiting a little longer, and if there is still no update after a few more days, contact Github Support.

Yes, this can be normal sometimes. Educational plan applications may take a few days to several weeks depending on the number of requests being reviewed. Since your status still shows “Under review” and it hasn’t been rejected, your application is likely still being processed. You can wait a little longer or contact GitHub Education support if it takes much more time.
